  • Wassmuth Center Compassion Crew: Thursdays: “Children and their caregivers are welcome to join us every Thursday at 10am in the Philip E. Batt Education Building for an hour of stories, art, music, and movement. Together, we will explore important human rights concepts in fun and interactive ways! No registration is required. Free!”
  • Downtown Boise's First Thursday: March 6: "Our local merchants plan exciting, engaging in-store events including food and beverage tastings, local art exhibits, retail trunk shows, live music, family activities, and entertainment in a special and unique way you'll only find in Downtown Boise. Stop into your favorite establishment or check out someplace new!"
  • Boise Art Museum: March 6: "Admission is ‘pay what you can’ all day
    BAM offers extended hours on the First Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Studio Art Exploration Drop-in, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
    Hands-on art making in BAM’s Education Studios. Drop-in designed for all ages."
  • Oregon Trail Travelers @ Idaho State Museum: Homeschool Day on March 7, Family Second Saturday on March 8! “People traveling west on the Oregon Trail crossed through what is now Idaho. Learn more about this part of our state’s history during Family Second Saturday at the Museum by churning your own butter and making a colorful quilt pattern!”
  • 52nd Annual Boise Roadster Show: March 7-9: “The event showcases many of the best hot rods, cool customs, trick trucks, impressive street machines, classics, race cars, custom motorcycles and more.”
  • Teach Me to Braid Class (Sit Still Kids - Eagle): March 7: “Join us for our braiding class on Friday, March 7th from 6-7pm. Learn Dutch, French and Fishtail braids! Plus drinks and snacks!”
  • March Ladies Night Out with Boise With Kids and Idaho Adventure Mom: March 7: Calling all women! Come grab a bite to eat and/or a drink with us- and enjoy a great, no-strings-attached night out! Meet at Barbarian Brewing in Garden City @ 6:30pm!
  • BSU Men’s Basketball Vs. Colorado State: March 7 @ 8:00pm
  • “Starch Madness” - Big Sky Basketball Championships: March 8-12: “For the 10th-straight season, all Big Sky members will compete in the conference tournament with the field featuring 10 teams for both the men and women in 2025. All games will be played at the Idaho Central Arena in downtown Boise.”
  • Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Concert @ Morrison Center: March 8: Two showings! “CineConcerts presents Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix™ in Concert. Experience the magic of Harry Potter™ soaring across the big screen in high-definition.”
  • Illumibrate @ JUMP: March 8: “ILLUMiBRATE is our yearly celebration of all things light and color, featuring interactive exhibits and performances throughout the night. This year we will highlight creative installations by our three Resident Creatives for the inaugural round of our Resident Creative Program.” Tickets are free, but required!
  • Parents Night Out @ Children’s Art Classes: March 9: “Enjoy a well-deserved break while we take care of the kids! Drop them off for a fun-filled art experience at Children’s Art Classes in Meridian.”

  • Water Wise at the Library at Cole and Ustick: March 6, 6:00-7:30pm: "Learn how to create a water-wise landscape this spring with free workshops on plant selection, designing your space, and maintaining healthy soil and plants hosted by The WaterShed and Ada Soil and Water Conservation District. Join Ada Soil and Water Conservation District for an exploration into the importance of backyard conservation and learn how making a change in your lawn, garden or farm can make a big difference for our planet."
  • Community & Co-ops Event for Homeschoolers: "Join other homeschoolers on Saturday, March 8 to learn about co-ops and other homeschool resources in the Treasure Valley, meet other families, and learn how to start your own homeschool community.
